At Core, we believe supporting the community in which we work
and thrive is not just an idea, but our responsibility. Giving to causes
which strengthen our neighborhoods and the local economy elevates
our great city. The greater our city can become, the more we all benefit.
CoreFund was born out of this passion. Core’s non-profit foundation is designed to benefit from our collective success and prosperity, giving to a wide array of non-profits.
CoreFund’s Areas of Giving
-
Housing
A city is defined by its housing. Attainable home ownership not only provides basic shelter needs, it also sustains the local economy, builds wealth for families, and establishes community networks. CoreFund gives to housing-related organizations including Affordable Housing Resources, Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity and Urban Housing Solutions.
-
The Arts
A city with a strong arts community will flourish. We need the arts in Nashville to energize, express, and empower ourselves. Art inspires creativity that stimulates our local economy and encourages success in schools. We support organizations such as Nashville Children’s Theatre, Nashville Independent Film Festival, and the Nashville Shakespeare Festival.
-
Environment + Smart Growth
As we grow, smart growth and sustainability issues become increasingly important. We believe in protecting our environment and controlling our growth to have the least impact. Whether through retrofitting our historic homes or preserving our green spaces, CoreFund gives to organizations that share these goals such as Greenways for Nashville, Cumberland River Compact, and Nashville Civic Design Center.
-
Community
Whether it is to beautify our streets, enhance our parks, or encourage community events, support of our neighborhood associations is essential. Local schools and youth enrichment programs, such as Oasis Center and Big Brothers of Nashville, invest in our future. Crisis organizations, such as Magdalene House and Nashville Homeless Power Project, provide resources for our disenfranchised residents.
